All packaged units come with the Comfort Commitment™ "Best in Class" warranty. Whirlpool Gold® models include lifetime coverage on the compressor and/or heat exchanger, and every Whirlpool brand packaged unit carries 10-year parts warranty coverage. Whirlpool brand packaged units feature the same industry-best heat exchangers and compressors found in split systems for a variety of efficiency options to meet your needs. Premium models include two-stage operation and variable speed blowers, providing continuous airflow to prevent the wear-and-tear and energy loss that occurs in other brand models during starts and stops. All units come standard with an integrated 1-piece top to protect internal components by sealing out moisture and a strong steel cabinet with DuraShield™ coating to resist rust and scratching.

All Whirlpool brand packaged units use the environmentally-friendly R410A refrigerant and the industry's most efficient compressors and heat exchangers. In addition, you can choose from a variety of EcoCentral™ and ENERGY STAR® qualified models that use less energy and save you money on utility bills.

Premium Two-Stage High-Efficiency Scroll Compressor

Offers capacity reduction, providing improved temperature control for greater indoor comfort and energy savings. With fewer moving parts, it is up to four times quieter than standard, reciprocating compressors and is unsurpassed in reliability.

Energy-Efficient Scroll Compressor

Heavy-duty compressor achieves an energy rating of 13, 14 or 15 SEER, respectively.

Variable-Speed ECM Direct-Drive Motor

Starts softly on low speed while gradually ramping up to optimal performance. Offers infinite settings for increased comfort, quieter operation and energy savings when compared to conventional motors.
